Gives your "contractor" saw a cabinet saw's accuracy
I've had the Incra setup for about 5 years, and it turned my 10" Delta contractor saw into a highly accurate unit for ripping precisely and repeatably. The fence rides on two outrigger rails that you attach to your saw. In my case, it was necessary to either remove the splitter altogether or cut the Incra rail for the back of the saw into two parts and mount them separately because the Delta splitter's reach is fairly short.
You calibrate the fence by zeroing it to your blade. Once you do, your cuts will be right on the money. The fence is adjusted in 1/128th increments using a set of toothed racks, and you can make, say, a 1-1/2" cut, switch to some other dimension, and then come back to the original setting and get precisely the same width as the first cut. You can do that 1 minute later or 1 month later and the repeat cut will be perfect.
I also purchased an accessory that makes it easy to use the fence on an auxilliary Incra-made router table that attaches in place of one of the standard table extensions.
The fence and the rails it rides on are large-stock aluminum extrutions and all the mounting hardware is solid. The instructions are clear, but you do have to follow quite a long list of steps. It takes a couple of hours to set up the whole thing, but once you do it's very simple to use and easy enough to move out of the way or completely dismount if necessary.

I Love the TS-III
The TS-III is great. It makes cutting boards easier, more accurate and SAFER!! Since the fence is 100% parrallel to the saw blade all of the time, the odds of "kick back" are significantly decreased. It did take me about 4 hours to put together because I took my time. I believe most people would need 2 - 4 hours to put this fence system together, but it is well worth the effort. Finally, I had to wait 6 weeks to have it shipped from Amazom because I picked "Free Shipping". When I switched my order to "Standard Shipping" and paid the extra $10 it was shipped the next day. If anyone orders this product (and I highly recommend it) take my advise and pay the $10 for shipping rather than wait 6 weeks or more.

Great item, POOR AMAZON SERVICE!!!!!!!!! This time.
I originally purchased this item on 9/5/06, and as a Prime Member, it was shipped to me second day air. GREAT RIGHT! WRONG! The ONLY box that arrived (1 out of 3)had the fence, cariage and their attachment hardware in it. SO I call Amazon and tell then the item is missing parts. Their wonderful response is to send me out an entire replacement NEXT DAY AIR! WHOOO HOOO!!!!! I am going to get the system this week! WRONG!!! The same box was sent, with the same parts in it, and the order was closed.
OK now I am loosing patients and customers waiting for the INCRA system. I then track down the company who manufactures the Incra products in Texas. They are TAYLOR DESIGN. I leave a message with their customer service, and get a call back from them, the next business day.
In talking to the manufacturer, I learn the following:
1) The Incra TSIII table saw system does indeed ship in three boxes.
2) Amazon does have the necessary items in their possession to complete my order for the TSIII system, in thier "Fullfillment Centers"
3) The manufacturer does have these items in stock. Also, if Amazon can not find the correct parts, they will either ship the parts to Amazon to complete the order, or drop ship directly to me on Amazon's authorization. I of course will have to get Amazon to give the authorization.
So I again contact Amazon via phone and email over the next 30 days. The end result is approx 5-6 hours on the phone with Amazon and about 15 emails, only to be told by the person on the other end, that they do not know why this issue has not been resolved. No they can't actually call a "Fullfillment Center" and ask them what the problem is, or tell them how to fix it. No really, we literally can not make phone calls to other parts of Amazon's facillities, we do not have that capability!!!
Amazon did actually offer to refund my money every chance that they got. However this item was purchased under one of their promotions, and was at least $75-$100 cheaper than anywhere else (Net or Brick&Mortar).
The current status of my ordeal is this:
1)Amazon did refund my $$$$. OK fine now I need to go find it somewhere else.
2) The item on Amazon's web site is currently MISlabeled:
"Availability: In stock soon. Order now to get in line. First come, first served.
Hurry, order now and we'll ship this item when it becomes available. You can cancel your order at any time. Your credit card will not be charged until we have shipped your order. Ships from and sold by Amazon.com."
This is no doubt so they can find all the parts and pieces they are missing, as the manufacturer confirmed that Amazon is currently in possession of all the items needed.
3) Their refund of my order will take 3+ days to accomplish, tying up the funds on my end so I can't use them to bail myself out of this mess. They sure can take my $$$ as soon as the order is made though- GO FIGURE!
While I can't get totally pissed off at Amazon for how they handled this situation. After all they did offer a refund every time. However it meant that I would not be able to afford the item elsewhere as it was a promo price.
I still for the life of me, can't figure out how they can get anything done without the ability to make DIRECT contact with ANYBODY in their company to try and solve simple or IMMEDIATE problems.
Also Amazon was stuck paying for the items total weight of 79 pounds both times it was shipped to me (once 2nd day air & once Next day air), when only about 15 pounds of the item was shipped. We will pick up this tab (and all others like it) down the road, when Amazon has to raise prices for their items& shipping.
Please do not misunderstand me. I do take some responsibility for this ordeal. I could have bailed out early with a refund. I however chose to give Amazon a simple solution by contacting the manufacturer, and then provide Amazon with a way to quickly solve this issue. Sadly it either fell on deaf ears, or was unable to be accomplished because of massive internal communication problems, I will never know which.
I will also continue to do business with Amazon.com because this is one of the few problems (albeit the worst!!) that I have had with them.
Some may read into this that Amazon did not ship this on purpose, due to it's promotional price of $300.00 shipped 2nd day air, and that they were loosing too much money. I prsonally do not believe this, as I have purchased many $K, of items through them in the past. Both standard price, and promotional.
Sorry for the long soap box sermon, rant mode is off now.
I just want anybody who is considering buying this item ( or any other multi boxed SKU#) to be aware of my problem.
All in all, It may be a good idea to order this type of item over the phone so you can know if there are any similar problems.
Good luck and Good Shopping

TSIII is AMAZING!
I've recently purchased the TSIII and I definitley got my monies worth. It does cut as accurately as they claim. I've been using the Delta Unifence on my cabinet saw and a tape measure to try to come close to the accuracy of the TSIII. I've built a few small projects and never used a tape measure. I even checked the dimensions with a digital calipers and they were spot on.
It did take me longer than I expected to put it together, but worth the time.

Yeah, it's pretty nice
Anyone researching this fence has probably already read numerous positive reviews and user comments about this system about Incra in general.
I've found them to be largely true, but the system has some issues, too:
Yep, it DOES take up a lot of precious floor-space. This is especially compounded by moving the rails further to the right to extend rip capacity.
My fence is not flat. I read a ~.020" bow (proud in the center behind the carriage) with my dial caliper over the length of the fence. I expect I could grind this down, or shim out via a sub-fence.
The rails are LONG, and supporting them, while not required, seems prudent. This is especially true if you're dropping a router in an extension wing.
The "hairline" cursor on my positioner is not a hairline - it's tough reading that little scale, too - I think I could easily lock down 1/32" off and not realize it (this could be my vision, though).
I noticed that clamping the positioner in seems to move the fence a little. Not a big deal but it makes initial set-up a little hit-or-miss.
This is a modular product, so the terminology gets confusing. You're looking at a TSIII fence "system" - it includes the Ultra positioner, rails, a mounting plate, fence, and carriage. To Incra's credit, these items are all offered seperately, but this makes it a little more confusing. Some of these parts are identical to the router-table based systems (the positioner, the carriage, e.g.). It seems a little redundant to buy a TS AND a RT system since they share these components.
The knob to clamp down the front of the fence seems a little cheesy, and the back of the fence is clamped down with a (supplied) Allen wrench driver. Just seems odd compared to conventional systems.
Obviously these are picky little issues - it's a clever design, it's very modular (adding extension tables/ accesories is a breeze), manuals and packaging are the best I've seen, it can serve double-duty as a RT fence, etc. With many more words I could convey: the system is really flexible and will allow you to come up with a configuration that will suit your work needs/style.
I'm saying nothing about accuracy here because I think that's been covered well elsewhere.
The fence seems to remain square to the slots / blade, but it just feels unlikely that this is true when you use it. The center mount, friction from dragging hold downs, and general "flimsyness" of the system (in it's unlocked state - when locked, it's very secure) make me feel like the fence is skewing all over the place.
I know this is mixed bag for a review but when I was researching, I could find nothing other than "perfect"...
